Career Opportunities
Graduates will be able to provide reflexology treatment as well as a treatment for clients with specific needs such as palliative care and aged care. Practitioners may be self-employed as independent practitioners or work in larger health service and may supervise other reflexologists.
Course Structure
to attain HLT52515 Diploma of Reflexology, student must complete a total of 21 units of competency.
- 15 core units
- 6 elective units, consisting of:
- at least 1 unit from the Business Management group below
- up to 5 units from the electives listed below, any endorsed Training Package or accredited course – these units must be relevant to the work outcome
All electives chosen must contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Work-Based Training (WBT)
120 hours of work in an approved facility over the duration of the course.
Entry Requirements
Age Requirements
All students must be at least 18 years of age or above at the time of the course commencement to study at Mervic College.
English Language Requirements
Mervic approved LLN (ACSF level 4-5) or an English Placement Test;
OR
General English with Intermediate level achieved;
OR
Mature-age candidates with relevant industry experience
Academic Requirements
Completion of Year 12 or higher.
Pre-Training Review
All students are required to undertake a pre-training review that aims to identify their training needs through questions on previous education or training, the relevance of the courses to the learner, and relevant experience.
Qualification Recognition
Qualifications offered by Mervic College are based on the principles, guidelines, and standards set by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and VET Quality Framework (VQF) and are nationally recognised.
